A very rare (but not desireable) Deckel on Ebay

This is more for the detail fanatics amoung us.
Take a look at this while it is still up:
Frasmaschine | eBay
That machine should not exist, because it looks like a FP3NC type 2803, but it has the 2103 control, billed here as "straight line".
It also clearly says the machine is labelled as type 2804.
While this is confusing it is collaborated by the machine type listing here:
http://www.dialog5.com/thefpncseries.htm (scroll down)
I never understood previously why there were 2 different type numbers of the very old FP3A.
So it seems that in late 81 or 82 there was a cross-over machine, that was all the new fangled NC series, but not yet with the corresponding control. That must have been a very brief moment.
So if someone says he has an FP3A, that could be anyone of 4 or 5 machine types.

That reminds me of March 1953, when VW was already slipping the first non-split window bugs into dealerships at night and hid them away until all the split window ones were sold (March 10th, 1953, but mine is the modern one from March 30th).
