In photo below.... why the two large holes ? Guessing one is for screwing in a special light base...but the other non threaded hole ? And if for a light, why the milled surfaces side and top ?
I ask, because kind of like the ground T slot block that I wanted to cut shorter, but wanted to make damn sure I, or no one else, would ever need that block full length before I cut it (which turned out to be for the ultimate obsolete accessory, the punch milling attachment)....Now I want to mount a halogen light on the bracket pictured, but figure I might as well bandsaw off the projection with the two holes if they serve no purpose these days. Here again, maybe for some obsolete accessory ?
