I had two Deckel jig boring heads and what the first head had for a drawbar appeared the same as the first link-

But due to cost I emailed Singer to see if I could buy just the S20 drawbar by itself (figuring I'd make the thrust ring part) and got the below link to another drawbar setup.....which I don't understand....what the heck is the spring and the other two parts all about ??
