Hi,
I have Deckel FP1, '50's/60's vintage I believe (it has the lever speed change, "stick shift" feed control, MT4 spindle).
It has the large electrical box, and AFAIK is all original, electrically.
It was removed from a 480v/3~ shop, and is wired with a 5-blade plug, so I'm assuming its a wye configuration.
I need to run wire for it in my shop, and I'm wondering if I'll be able to wire it delta instead. (i.e., can I get away without running a neutral conductor).
The electrical cab is not easily accessible at present to inspect, and I'd like to buy/run the wire before I do the heavy moving (which would make it accessible), hence my inquiry.
Many thanks in advance,
mike
