In the past week or so the spring-lock plunger on my 1964 Deckel FP2 speed-selector handle has gotten very weak.
Either the spring has broken or something inside has slipped out of place. Can someone please tell me how to take this apart? I want to attend to it without much delay because if the selector handle moves while the machine is running it could do serious damage to the gearing inside.
