I have a late model Aciera F3 and note from its lube chart that it's specifying Mobil Vactra no 2 for most lube points. However some time ago Mobil changed the naming of Vactra and in their wisdom, Vactra become something completely different. Some of my older machines specified Mobil Vactra (Heavy etc) which is NOT way oil. Can I confirm Aciera are referring to the modern and current series of Vactra no 2 slideway lubes in their chart?
I also wonder about lubes for the head, whether their are other common (for example automotive application) lubricants that are equivalent to DTE 28? I haven't started looking for that yet, so don't know how difficult it is to find, however as I was putting up this thread thought I ask if there are alternatives.
