I have a Deckel FP4NC which has been sitting idle in my shop for about 3 yrs. I kept it powered up from time to time but never put it to work until recently. I started cutting a long cycle with short moves and after maybe 30 minutes of running the spindle brake clamped and the machine shutdown but not off. I hiot the start button and the clamps unlocked and I ran the program again and after 30 or so minutes it shut off again. This time I had to power down the machine and restart. It lost my XYZ cooridinates and they reset to zero (I dont know if this is normal or if it is supposed to retain that. I would assume it would) I then rezeroed and started the machine and after another 30 minutes the same thing. Does anyone have any suggestions?
