FP2NC Dynapath Delta 20 positioning problem

I have a Deckel FP2NC with a Dynapath Delta 20 controller.

I have been trying to get a simple CAM program (Dolphin Partmaster v11) to play nice with my FP2NC, and have been running into some issues, which now seem to have spread over to the machine conversational control. Because of this, my first thought is that the CAM program somehow coded a parameter change of some type, which is now causing issues.

I have limited experience programming with this control. My last control was an Anilam Crusader M, which I was fair at programming through the conversational mode.

The problem I am having currently is this: When I program a positioning event at the beginning of a short test program, I get a "*" next to the auxiliary axis A, in the position display, and the machine will neither move, nor progress to the next event. My understanding is that the "*" indicates the machine is in the process of positioning this. The problem is, I have not programmed movement in this axis, nor do I have an auxiliary axis installed. I did not have this issue prior to loading a program into the control from the CAM software. I successfully loaded a program, but there were again positioning issues that kept me from actually running the program.

Does anyone have an idea as to how to solve this? I'm assuming it's some type of dope-slapper, which when solved I'll feel really dumb for having missed.
