RSF Elektronik glass scales the same specs as Heidenhain ?

To be precise RSF type MSA6707, with 20um interval, 5 volts....if I could get a pin out on their cable to match connectors would they work with a typical Heidenhain DRO ? Below is link to another MSA6707 that shows the actual data plate if it matters. I was thinking years ago I was told RSF and Heidenhain were pretty much the came company...yes or no ?
