We just purchased a electric high speed spindle for our Hermle with Heidenhain 426 control. The last thing we want to do is accidentally start the spindle on the machine when using it. Was wondering if there is a setting or an easy way to disable the spindle. And if not how others have tackled this issue. Here is a pic of the spindle for you all to check out. It does 80000 rpm.
