"Active" in quotes as it wasn't really an Active machine, but except for missing yellow lights, looked just like one....apparently one of those built for the USA market the year before Heidenhain came out with the TNC 113 DRO (Active metric or inch) and offered the TNC 111 only (Metric only)....
Plus it came with a nice tilt swivel table in addition to the standard issue table. I could have bought it before the auction started but decided it just wasn't worth the risk if the spindle or drive gearing was a little noisey....and too far away for me to check it out in person. Probably in great shape though.
