Acquired a new to me Deckel accessory. Don't know anything about it...Other than of course it is connected to the CNC machines.
Appears to be some sort of data storage or transfer device, but i really would like to know more!
General size is: 5 1/2" tall, 10" wide and 9 1/2" deep.
Has a carrying handle fitted so it was intended to be carried about some..
On the front behind a clear plastic "door" are two 3.5" floppy drives.
Also on the face is a membrane style keyboard with numbers and functions.
Above the keypad is a display window of some type, but nothing shows without power.
On the back are what appear to be 3 serial ports, and on/off switch and a socket for a line cord.
Appears to be setup for 110V ac service, and some of the precautions are in English...so must have been for US delivery.
Really would like to know what this is used for exactly...And how.
Don't have the line cord and it appears to be non standard (smaller than the current standard)
Any help here would be appreciated.......
