On the ND780 anyway, you now get no printed operations manual in any language ! Yes, the operations manual is in the control itself and yes you can download it and print one....but I'd still prefer a proper printed copy from Heidenhain.
....which luckily, I actually have....from an ND780 I bought years ago for my Schaublin 135 lathe, when you still got a proper manual with it !
Meanwhile, maybe I can learn to read technical Russian by comparing the installation manual sections...:reading:
