Hermle UWF 802M trouble with it

I have bought this Hermle UWF802M in France
Really nice machine But I have some troubles with it
The spindle does not turn
The powerfeeds work of and on
It gets fault in the display in a more or less random manner
I found and fixed one problem with the "on" button It should be a hold contact but it broke and acted like a momentary switch
Thinking about it this evening I think I should check the foil switches That would explain some of it
I did have a DRO once that went bizar in a simalar way Anyone else had such problems


The next problem is the language
Its in French and my French is terrible and hard to sell here I got a German manual also So thats not gonna work
But while Hermle did send me a copy of the manual for free they want €1300 to replace the French Eprom with a German one :ack2:
I should buy a secondUWF802M with a German version and copy the eprom Now find one
Or someone on the board has one ???:smoking::cool:

The last problem is some damage on the LCD Screen Its a Hitachi LM238XB Obsolete now and the cheapest available is €500
Anyone has a source for these
