Has anyone worked out a way to clean the oil sight glass? Talking about an FP1 here, but this could apply to any machine. Two sight glasses, one on the saddle and one on the side of the machine. Over the years they've built up with dark discolorations to the point where I can't see the oil level any more. Perhaps if the oil had been changed more often this wouldn't have happened, prior life maintenance may have been lacking, but here I am. The glasses appear like they must be cemented in place somehow, no metal bezel like many of the US made machines. The glass on the saddle is attached to a piece that is relatively small and can be removed from the saddle, turns out that doesn't help much because there is a metal star a few millimeters behind the glass. So no opportunity to get a Q tip in there. Anyway, any suggestions?
